About us

J.C.Stans is a danish company with a latin flavour.

Originally we only made die cutting, then we started to lasercut acrylic ...and we loved it.

In the aftermath, we became really good at doing both things, we combined them and our business expanded to other areas.

Today we have a wide range of products on offer and a production capacity that goes all the way from Design to Lasercut plastics, Acrylic, POS displays,  Thermoforming, Prototyping, Signs and General Advertising.

Die cutting

A die is a specialized tool used in manufacturing industries to cut or shape materials  such as rubber, fiber, foil, cloth, paper, corrugated fiberboard, paperboard, plastics, pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, foam and sheet metal. Mostly this is done by using a press. Products made with dies range from labels, corrugated boxes to complex pieces used in advanced technology. Die cutting started as a process of cutting leather for the shoe industry in the mid-19th century. It is now sophisticated enough to cut through just one layer of a laminate, so it is now used on labels, stamps, and other stickers; this type of die cutting is known as kiss cutting.

From Design to Prototyping

One of the best ways to gain insights in a Design Thinking process is to carry out some form of prototyping, this involves producing an early, inexpensive, and scaled down version of the product in order to reveal any problems with the current design.

At J.C.Stans we know how important it is for our customers to have a prototype in the early part of the project, therefore many times we skip phases just by presenting our customers with a final prototype, that assures the final customer that there products will be placed and sold in the best possible way.
